Co-Founder Eric Manu brings over a decade of service in the British Army and more than 20 years of leadership experience across multiple operational sectors. A recognised specialist in risk assessment, incident reporting and operational oversight, Eric is known for his calm authority, exceptional judgement and ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments. His experience and insight form a critical pillar of SSS Official’s operational excellence.
Co-Founder & Security Director Guy Pickard combines commercial leadership experience with a strong British Army background, bringing a proven track record in team development, specialist security training and the management of complex protective operations. Guy is known for his commitment to raising standards across the private security sector and for delivering consistently high-quality service for clients across London and the UK.
Together, our leadership team holds advanced expertise in protective patrolling, threat mitigation, weapons familiarity, estate and venue safeguarding, and London-specific operational awareness.
Our qualifications include SIA Close Protection (held since 2011), STCW 95, SSO, Seaman’s card and discharge book, weapons training, Fire Marshall Level 2, First Aid at Work, and extensive NVQ certifications in Media, Business Studies, Physical Instruction and Advanced Fitness.
